Ridgemont Highlands’ sensational young sire Rafeef looks to have come up with yet another exciting prospect in the form of two-year-old filly Who Do You Love.The latter made a big impression when she made a winning debut at Kenilworth racecourse on Monday afternoon.
Under Aldo Domeyer, Who Do You Love launched a sustained run down towards the inside of the track and powered home to land Monday’s first race, the Welcome To Cape Racing Maiden Juvenile Plate (1000m), going away by two and a half lengths.
Trained by Candice Bass-Robinson, Who Do You Love was bred by the Narrow Creek Stud.
Monday’s winner, who is out of the Model Man mare Fair Enough, was a R200 000 buy from the 2021 National Yearling Sale.
Who Do You Love is the second two-year-old winner for Rafeef this season, with the son of Redoute’s Choice also responsible for G3 Kenilworth Fillies Nursery hopeful Spywing.
