Canford Cliffs Filly Unbeaten in Gr3 Prix Perth at Saint-Cloud
Ridgemont Highlands’ five-time G1 winning stallion Canford Cliffs looks to have come up with a very smart filly indeed in the form of Jin Jin who remained unbeaten when winning the Gr3 Prix Perth at Saint-Cloud.

Successful in the Listed Grosse Hannoversche Stutenmeile and Listed Baden-Baden Cup, Jin Jin travelled to Saint-Cloud to upgrade her status with a hard-fought win from the front in Saturday’s G3 contest. Forced to hand a lead to a higher-quality opponent such as last year’s G1 Criterium International winner Alson, the unbeaten 7-1 shot never stopped giving to Maxim Pecheur and was strongest in the closing stages as at any other stage as she registered a 1 3/4-length verdict over the aforementioned Alson (the latter sent off the 2-5 favourite).

Out of the Okawango mare Josphiel, Jin Jin is now unbeaten in six starts and looks a fine advertisement for her Cape-based sire Canford Cliffs.
Canford Cliffs has been responsible for more than 40 black-type horses thus far, and his progeny have already earned in excess of $24 000 000 in prize money.
Among the Irish classic winners’ notable performers are the group/graded stakes winners Cliff’s Edge, Princess Posh, Fish River, Most Beautiful and Painted Cliffs, as well as this year’s Italian 2000 Guineas winner Cima Emergency.
Winner of group races at Royal Ascot three years running, Canford Cliffs will be represented by his first South African yearlings in 2021.
